Growing the music - Our History

Strawberry Jam Promotions is an independent promotions company based in Wellington, New Zealand. Originally founded in Dunedin in 2020 we focus on promoting events that show off the local New Zealand talent. 

Whilst still based in Dunedin we hosted 10+ sold out shows, across numerous venues. We were fortunate to ride the wave of reconnection post lockdown and helped germinate a new generation of gig going audience attendees. Always with the focus of providing some of the best entertainment.

Since 2025 after a 2 year hiatus Strawberry Jam has been given a new life in Wellington. After being put on hold, Ryan studied Music Industry at Massey University. Learning the ins and outs of the New Zealand music industry. With this added experience and education Ryan and team are working hard to host some of the most memorable gigs with some of the best local musicians. 

We always strive to work with up and coming talent from designers, sound/lighting engineers, photographers, and musicians. We are always trying to support local talent to create the best outcomes for our events.
